The following positions are available, with start dates listed with the position description:

We are looking for two energetic and positive fine dining servers to join our farm family. The job: serve guests our signature nine-course menu, basic side work and organizing. Friday, Saturday and Sunday April-June and then Friday and Saturdays in July and August and then back to Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September-November. Approximately 18-24 hrs a week with some holiday weekends off. This is a non- tipped position, paid competitive hourly wage.

What it requires:  Fine dining experience is a plus but the ability to be genuine, authentic, friendly and hospitable is valued much more. Be prepared to work with and serve a highly diverse group of individuals, with various orientations and backgrounds. Have the ability to self-manage and be able to be on your feet for at least 6 full hours, be prepared to work in a warm environment in the summer (dinners are served on a screened in porch with no air-conditioning).

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, occasional tips, weekly share of farm goods such as vegetables, eggs and cheese.

Dishwasher/Prep Cook
We are looking for a friendly, full-time, hard-working individual to join our team. Responsibilities include helping to prep for our weekly dinners on the farm, light cleaning, and washing dishes. The typical weekly schedule would be as follows:

Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. prep for weekly dinners

Friday and Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. light cleaning and washing dishes for the farm table dinners.

What it requires: Cooking experience is a plus, but the ability to show up on time, ready to work with a good, positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever needs to be done is more important to this critical position on the Living Kitchen team.  Must be able to work with a highly diverse group of folks from various backgrounds and orientations.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, a weekly share of farm vegetables, eggs and cheese. Monday and Tuesday off plus some holiday weekends.

Seasonal Livestock/Farm Hand
We are looking for an energetic, positive farm hand to help us manage our livestock program and complete basic farm tasks. Job includes the cleaning and maintenance of goat barns and stalls, and chicken areas, cleaning water and feed troughs, light horse care, keeping minerals in stock, washing and packing eggs. 12-16 hours a week

What it requires:  Must LOVE animals and have some experience working with livestock/farm. Goats, horses, llamas and chickens and, LSGDs. Must be able to lift 50-pound feed bags and bales of hay. Must have a driver’s license or permit and be able to operate farm truck, four-wheeler and tractor as needed. Must be at least 16 years old.

Compensation:  Competitive hourly wage, plus a weekly share of vegetables, eggs and cheese.

Begin Date:  Job starts in March, days and hours are flexible. Ideal for a student looking for afterschool and/or summer job.
